Identifying pain points and applying UX Strategy

In a highly competitive retail environment, Aramis turned to Visie to help them with the challenge of increasing their brand’s perceived value and improving conversions on their e-commerce platform. The company was looking for an innovative solution to stand out in the digital market and build loyalty with new customers through online channels—starting with a full redesign of the online store.

The Visie team—made up of design and development specialists—worked closely with Aramis to carry out a detailed market analysis. This included reviewing competitor offerings in the digital environment and running brainstorming sessions with the brand to identify challenges in their previous e-commerce platform.

The project began with an extensive UX analysis, including interviews, field research, discovery processes, and market studies to identify competitive advantages and design solutions for the pain points found.

As a result, we identified usability issues in the online store that were negatively affecting customers—and, by extension, the brand. Critical issues impacted the shopping journey, product buttons and cards, and technical areas like filtering, search, and content management.

This deep dive allowed us to fully understand the target audience and the brand’s positioning. This stage was essential, as the insights gathered led to the creation of a new e-commerce design that reflected Aramis’ essence and provided a standout online shopping experience.


How Visie transformed and enhanced the Aramis customer experience

    The new Aramis e-commerce site was completely redesigned, combining modern aesthetics with improved usability to offer practical and intuitive navigation. The interface was built to align with both form and function, meeting the expectations of Aramis’ audience.
  2. Discovery & Dynamic Sections

    We created a new discovery journey for users, enabling them to explore products and new releases with ease. This was made possible by a custom content management system developed by Visie for VTEX IO, which allows all sections of a page to be moved, repositioned, or newly created with flexibility.
  3. Support for Special Dates

    Visie implemented a support routine for key sales dates such as Father’s Day, Black Friday, and Christmas, ensuring Aramis receives full technical and design support. We conduct brainstorming sessions for new features, risk analysis, and strategic planning ahead of each event.

    Aramis now has a robust omnichannel system that integrates all physical stores and selected partners. This allows customers to browse the website and view products from other curated brands in a seamless shopping journey.

    We developed a unique, time-based feature that allows Aramis to let customers select preferred stores ahead of time and view available products for same-day pickup.
  2. Performance Improvements

    We built a custom theme from scratch on VTEX IO with lightning-fast loading speeds, ensuring a quick and optimized browsing experience across all devices.
  3. A/B Testing Routine

    To keep up with campaign dynamics, new feature creation, purchasing decisions, and user experience, we implemented a test routine model. This allows us to track outcomes, gather data, and propose new solutions in real-time.
  4. Design Follow-Up

    Throughout the development of new features and store solutions, the design team participates in every phase—from ideation and sketching to UX work—collaborating closely with the Aramis and Visie development teams.
